Step 1: Accessing Roku Settings

  1. Connect your Roku device to your TV and power it on.
  2. Use the Roku remote to navigate to the home screen.
  3. Scroll to the left and select “Settings” from the menu.

Step 2: Create a Roku PIN

  1. In the Settings menu, scroll down and select “Parental Controls.”
  2. Choose “Set PIN” and enter a four-digit PIN of your choice.
  3. Confirm the PIN to complete the setup process.
  4. Make sure to choose a PIN that is unique and not easily guessable.

Step 3: Enable Content Rating Restrictions

  1. Within the “Parental Controls” menu, select “Content Rating Restrictions.”
  2. Enter your newly created PIN when prompted.
  3. Choose the appropriate content rating level for your child’s age.

  1. On the home screen, navigate to the Roku Channel Store.
  2. Locate the desired channel and select it.
  3. Choose “Add Channel” and enter your PIN when prompted.
  4. If you wish to restrict access to the channel, select “Yes” when asked, “Do you want to require a PIN to add this channel?”
